Body-part damage
| Part | Remaining HP | Direct damage | Spread damage | Armor factor |
|---|
When damage to the hit part exceeds its remaining HP, the excess is distributed to other parts that still have HP after applying the hit part's spread multiplier.
Part damage = overflow damage × part spread multiplier × part's remaining HP ÷ total remaining HP
Spread example
The abdomen is already at 0 HP and takes 100 damage:
Abdomen spread multiplier = 150%
Spread damage = 100 × 150% = 150
Only the abdomen is at 0 HP. The other parts have enough HP to absorb their shares, so damage is distributed in proportion to their remaining HP:
Head 40 + Chest 85 + Left arm 60 + Right arm 60 + Left leg 65 + Right leg 65 = 375
| Part | Distribution |
|---|---|
| Head | 150 × 40 / 375 = 16.00 |
| Chest | 150 × 85 / 375 = 34.00 |
| Left arm | 150 × 60 / 375 = 24.00 |
| Right arm | 150 × 60 / 375 = 24.00 |
| Left leg | 150 × 65 / 375 = 26.00 |
| Right leg | 150 × 65 / 375 = 26.00 |
The head or chest reached zero. This is a theoretical seven-part calculation and does not model death or DBNO transitions.
